 In December our wine list expanded its selections. In addition to our selection of wines by the glass and standard size bottle list, we have introduced a half bottle selection, a selection of dessert wines and a "Special Wine Feature" that will change regularly. Check out the complete new expanded wine list on our Wine List page. We are very proud to announce that Wine Spectator Magazine  has chosen Kelly's for their Award of Excellence for 2007, 2008, and 2009. Great job, Jean. November's issue of State College Magazine recognized Kelly's for the fourth straight year as the Best Steak Restaurant in the Centre Region. In addition we were recognized for the third straight year as The Best Seafood Restaurant in the Centre Region. Thank you one and all for your faithful patronage.

Chef Kelly's Dinner Specials

June 4th through July 2nd

A celebration of Copper River Salmon!! This is hailed as the best salmon in the world and only available for a few short weeks of the year. These unique salmon must store up high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids(the good fat) in preparation for their arduous spawning journey up the 300 mile Copper River in Alaska. The firm, bright red flesh is rich with a nutty flavor making these dishes truly amazing.

Starter

House Smoked

Cured overnight in a ginger-allspice brine, guava wood smoked, and served chilled with Maui tartar sauce, tomato-cucumber relish, and pickled Bermuda onions.

Entrees

Simply Grilled

Grilled with extra virgin olive oil and our house made Hawaiian sea salt blend. Simple and beautiful.

Asain Noodle Salad with Sesame-Crusted Salmon 

Asian soba noodles tossed in a sesame-soy dressing with fresh vegetables and topped with oven roasted sesame seed crusted salmon. 

Pappardelle with Salmon, Capers, and Herbs

Tender lemon-pepper pappardelle pasta tossed with salty capers, Copper River Salmon, parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs. This is a very light pasta that brings out the amazing flavors of the salmon.

Riesling Poached

Subtly spiced with star anise and peppercorns, imparting a bit of exotic flavor. Served with roasted new potatoes, asparagus, and a lemon butter sauce.

Smoked Chicken and Artichoke Torpedo Rolls

Smoked chicken, artichoke, corn, and cheddar filled wraps are fried crisp and served with a spicy red pepper sauce.

Entrees

Simply Grilled-Salmon

Grilled with extra virgin olive oil and our house made Hawaiian sea salt blend. Simple and beautiful.

Soft Shell Crab BLT 

Pan fried soft shell crab with thick sliced Applewood smoked bacon, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, avocado, and a lemon dill mayonnaise on a soft croissant. 

Goat Cheese Top Sirloin

A 10oz. top sirloin is grilled to your liking and served with a creamy roasted red pepper, sundried tomato, and spinach-goat cheese topping.

Chicken Coconut Curry Fettuccini

Fresh fettuccini noodles tossed in a spicy coconut curry cream sauce with tender chicken, shiitake mushrooms, and sweet peppers. Topped with diced tomato, Macadamia nuts, and scallions.

Macadamia and Lemongrass Crusted Mahi Mahi

Fresh Hawaiian Mahi Mahi filet encrusted with Macadamia nuts and a lemongrass pesto. Flash seared, and served over ginger-jasmine rice with a coconut infused cream and chili-basil oil.
