Dinner Specials and Entertainment

 In October our new expanded wine list almost doubled the selections. In addition to our selection of wines by the glass and standard size bottle list, we have introduced a half bottle selection, a selection of dessert wines and a "Special Wine Feature" that will change quarterly. Kelly's Special Wine Feature this quarter is from the Chateau Ste. Michelle Vineyard in Washington. Check out the complete new expanded wine list on our Wine List page. We are very proud to announce that Wine Spectator Magazine  has chosen Kelly's for their Award of Excellence for 2007and 2008. Great job, Jean. November's issue of State College Magazine recognized Kelly's for the third straight year as the Best Steak Restaurant in the Centre Region. In addition we were recognized as The Best Seafood Restaurant and The Best Hamburger. Thank you one and all for your faithful patronage.

Starter

Heirloom Tomato Salad

Fresh, juicy Heirloom tomatoes are sliced and served with fresh Buffalo Mozzarella, julienned basil, olive oil, Balsamic syrup, and our house Hawaiian seasoning blend.

Entrees

 Grandma Kelly's Chicken Salad Sandwich

Grandma's own recipe. Pulled chicken with crunchy celery, onions, garlic, mustard, and poppy seeds on oat bread. Served with your choice of fries, slaw, or baked beans.

Horseradish Crusted Delmonico

A 10oz. Prime Delmonico steak is crusted with horseradish and pan seared to your liking. Topped with a creamy aioli, and served with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Bourbon Kobe Flat Iron Steak

A large, tender 10oz. Kobe flat iron steak is marinated in Worchestershire, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger, and bourbon. Grilled to your liking and served with a rich bourbon Demi glaze, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. 

Noodle Salad with Sesame-Crusted Yukon River Salmon

The Yukon River is the third longest river in North America running from northern British Columbia through Alaska to the Bering Sea. For a few weeks each summer the salmon travel upstream to spawn, storing large amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids. With its' slightly nutty flavor this succulent salmon is rivaled only by the famed Copper River salmon as the best in the world. We prepare this dish with Asian soba noodles tossed in a sesame-soy dressing with fresh vegetables and topped with oven roasted, sesame seed-crusted salmon.

Chicken Coconut Curry Fettucine

Fresh fettucine noodles tossed in a spicy coconut curry cream sauce with tender chicken, shitake mushrooms, and sweet peppers. Topped with diced tomatoes, Macadamia nuts, and scallions.

New York Oscar

A petite New York Striploin is grilled to your liking, and topped with Dungeness crab, crisp asparagus, and rich hollandaise. Served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday - College and pro sporting events on five TV's including an 81 inch projection screen. Drink and food specials occur each day. Whether you follow Penn State, the Steelers or the Eagles, come and try a game at Kelly's. Sundays after Brunch and Mondays we are featuring a domestic draft for $1.50 and half-price appetizers in the lounge. That means wings for 20 cents; Kobi Beef sliders for a buck or Teriyaki Tenderloins for $3.50!!! So bring the whole gang or just send the husband while you shop, take in the big game and leave the food and drinks to us.
